Hi has been a busy month for us. This month saw us getting the final masters back for the new record, doing a remix, and getting our new tshirt designs up.
We have shows coming up for those of you in the NYC area, and soon we'll be starting to release a few new songs. John Congleton did a simply amazing job helping us to mix the record
and we can't wait to share it with you.

National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Weather
The National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Weather is awesome. The pictures are beautiful, it's a wonderful accompaniment to late-summer days spent basking, but mostly I think it's awesome to be reminded that you can look as deeply into something as you want...people can spend their lives building and registering complex systems of categorization for stuff that most people think is so tiny or so normal they don't register it.

Chris:
Tristan Perich : 1-Bit Symphony
Tristan Perich's 1-Bit Symphony is an electronic composition in five movements on a single microchip. Though housed in a CD jewel case like his first circuit album (1-Bit Music 2004-05), 1-Bit Symphony is not a recording in the traditional sense; it literally "performs" its music live when turned on.

Marcus:
Director Mario Bava
Over the last month saw two of his movies: Planet of the Vampires and Blood and Black Lace. The way they were stylized were both pretty amazing with lots of colored gels and a nice suspenseful pace. He basically started the whole Giallo movement and may early horror directors were inspired by his work. And I'm pretty sure the alien landscape on Planet of the Vampires had a big influence on Crispin Glover's film What Is It? Would love to do a video in his style at some point.
