Hey, we got a nice review of the Cameo Gallery show up on the papertrailmusic.com blog. Check it out! Was a great show all around w/ ARMS and Caveman really bringing the awesome.

Quiet Lights, ARMS & Caveman at Cameo Gallery (Lovin’ Cup) 4/16/10

Also, guess we’re Nu Gaze? And there’s an actual wiki for it! I’ll reserve judgment on the moniker given that there are indeed some pretty great bands on that list.

Our first proper show will be Sunday, March 14th at Pianos, LES, NYC. Also on the bill is the group Butterfly Explosion from Ireland who have a nice MBV meets Arab Strap sound. We’re looking forward to the show and hope you can make it.

Quiet Truth, Weapons Thrown

One of our first songs and still a favorite. This was the result of finding the synth loop quite by accident then building things around it. Of course now we’re forever searching to get the sound back so we can save it.

More info forthcoming.

We recently contributed the music for a CBS Criminal Minds promo. Its showing now on CBS and you’ll be able to see it played during the Superbowl (something we’re pretty excited about). Its taken from our song ‘Throat Cut’ and has a really nice creepy vibe to it. Hats off to Ric Serena who helped put it together.
